Belevue

This piece of land was owned by  a elderly couple Mr and Mrs Pieterse.  Mr du Toit offered to enter into a long term rental agreement with them to help them secure a steady income from the rent and to help them to  make their life easier.  Due to their high age they were  physically not able to do the hard labor like they used to.  Unfortunately Mr Pieterse had a stroke in 2011, during his sick bed Mr du Toit offered assistance to Mrs Pieterse and helped to equip the room where he stayed after he was discharged from hospital.  Mr Pieterse’s health deteriorated in such a way that home care wasn’t a option anymore. Mr du Toit financially assisted the Pieterse family to admit Mr Pieterse to a nursing home for professional care, after a long sick bed he sadly passed away. The original lease contract was done in 2009 with Mr Pieterse after his passing and a new lease agreement  were formed with Mrs Pieterse.

Mr du Toit developed their Conventional Irrigation system into Pivot irrigation and is currently managing this piece of land as part of the  Bellvue Baphalane Community unit due to practical reasons.
