Agri Tribal Lichtenburg- Springbokpan

The Springbok pan community noticed since 1937 that government lacked to do infrastructure developments or social upliftment projects for their community. The Springbokpan community is based in a rural area and lack infrastructure assistance with electricity, clean running water, proper housing, schools, health centers, agricultural development and support.

Due to lack of knowledge and governmental assistance the communities arable land is not being cultivated. The Springbokpan community have 330ha arable land available for the Fair 2 All United farming with the hope that  it contributes to bigger scale agriculture developments in their area that would directly impact their social well being as well as job creation opportunities.

Lichtenburg: Naauwport Village Community

Naauwpoort Vilage is situated in the North West Province 50km South of the Capital City Mahikeng and ±70km West of Lichtenburg.
Their nearest railway stations is Mareetsane which is ±20km West of Naauwpoort.

The Naauwpoort Village Community is under the leadership of Moditsaotsile Mathews Jongane under the Jurisdiction of Kopano Community Authority, with a house hold of 400 and due to our rural location it is leaving the area to have most of our community members been unemployed and dependable on social grants from government.

We have a total number of approximately 2700ha arable land that is divided into 15 ha portions per qualifying member and approximately  300 ha gracing land.  Crop farming could be of Assistance but due to the availability of governmental funding to our community this remains to be a challenge. This are used to be productive in 1980-1989, but since then very little was produced.

Due to our history out community leader is seeking assistance from other stakeholders to assist with crop farming activities with the hope that this will alleviate poverty and improve the lives within our communities.
