Fair2All United Farming t/a Agri-Culture bought 100% of Big Creek CC, a large scale agricultural farming group that had built their expansion over a period of 10 years on community owned land that was leased and farmed by Big Creek CC.
Big Creek CC established trust within the communities and had evolved from 170 ha of private land to over 8,000 ha of land processed before acquisition by Agri-Culture™.
Our trading name for this division is Agri-Community™.
Whereas many other farmers felt threatened and moved away from black owned land, Mr. Du Toit saw opportunity and has since expanded his business ten-fold until Fair2All United Farming acquired his farming operational business.
Today, 90% of the land under process is done on leased land and hence the need for Agri-Culture to establish a land lease holding company which in future will work alongside Agri-Procurement and Agri-Capital. Our expansion program will see our community leased land expand from current hectares to over 40,000 ha over the next five years. Our second farming leg, Agri-United where existing white-owned commercial farms will be converted to majority black-owned farming operations, will add a further 100,000 ha to the group over the next five years.
